The International Symposium on Insurance, Banking, and Finance was first held in 2018 at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University and continued under the auspices of Atatürk University in 2023. Now, Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences is organizing this significant event.

In recent years, the importance of the insurance sector has been increasing due to the outbreaks, earthquakes, droughts, floods, and disasters caused by climate change both in our country and worldwide. In extraordinary circumstances, ensuring the protection needed by society, providing the necessary funds and capital for the financial system, and determining policies to maintain economic stability are of utmost importance. Therefore, cooperation between the public and private sectors is crucial in safeguarding the future of society and its people. Hence, scientific events that bring together different disciplines and perspectives are highly valuable.

The 3rd International Symposium on Insurance, Banking, and Finance, where interdisciplinary studies will be presented, will be held face-to-face at our University’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences from July 8th to July 10th, 2024. A special session will be organized for researchers from abroad who wish to participate in the symposium, and paper presentations will be conducted online. Abstracts and full-text papers submitted to the symposium will be evaluated by academics from the scientific committee through a double-blind peer review process, considering their scientific research qualities and original values. Accepted papers from the peer review will be presented at the conference and subsequently published in online proceedings.
